P-40 is a cement-based, special plaster reinforced with polymer fiber, which is used for gluing and plastering heat and sound insulation materials, such as polystyrene-based (XPS, EPS) and shingle tiles, in the interior and exterior.
Features:
- The product can be used in the interior and exterior on concrete, raw concrete and gas block surfaces.
- Used for repair work.
- For gluing thermal insulation materials.
- Using a roller, it is possible to give structure/decoration.
- It has a tight grip on polystyrene-based and stone-walled tiles.
- Thanks to the content of a large number of healthy polymers included in the structure of the material.
- It is elastic.
- Safe.
- The product is resistant to strong impact.
- It has the function of good adhesion to the surface.
- Thanks to the fiber threads included in the structure, it absorbs tension and vibrations caused by temperature changes, minimizing the risk of cracking.
- Long-term resistance of the product to temperature difference is confirmed by hydrothermal wall tests.
- The material has the ability to repel water.
- High vapor permeability.
- Thanks to its elasticity, it makes it easier to use and work on the surface of the material.
Surface preparation: The surface on which P-40 will be applied must be straight, clean, dry, hard and durable. Bumps on the surface should be scraped off. Porous and absorbent areas should be wetted and dried before use.
Preparation for boiling: Betek thermal insulation plaster in clean and cold water Add slowly and mix with a mixer on low speed for about 10 minutes, until the boil is free of granules. The required amount of water should be determined according to the temperature conditions. Delay boiling for 5 minutes and stir again. If necessary, add water to the consistency of the mixture. The prepared mixture should be used in 2-2.5 hours, taking into account the temperature conditions. Adding water to the hardened mass for reuse is not allowed.
Applying: P-40 10X10 mm should be applied with a toothed steel spatula with a thickness of 4 mm on the thermal insulation tile. Alkali-resistant grids (160 g/m2) should be overlapped by 10 cm, and before the plaster dries, it should lie on the facade by 1-1.5 mm when applying and leveling the plaster surface. Corners of windows and doors should be reinforced with a cross mesh. During application and drying, the environment and surface temperature should be at least +50C and more than +300C. We should not work in direct sunlight, rain or wind, as long as the plaster dries, it should be protected from frost. Before the complete drying of the completed works, the surface must be protected from rain or sudden wetting, also in case the ambient temperature is higher than +250C, so that the boiling water does not suddenly lose and be damaged, we must periodically wet the surfaces. Dilution: 25 kg of P-40 should be mixed with 6-7 liters of water, depending on the temperature conditions.
Drying time: at +200C and conditionally 65% humidity, drying time is 1 day. Fully drying time 2-3 days. Because drying is a physical process, at low temperatures and high humidity the drying time may increase or vice versa.
Expense :
On polystyrene tiles: 4.0-4.5 kg/m2
On cotton tiles: 5.5/6.5 kg/m2
It should be taken into account that the consumption depends on the smoothness of the surface and the application methods. To understand the exact consumption, it is recommended to make a sample.
