Betek fayfiks P-40 is a cement-based, polymer fiber-reinforced special plaster, which is used for interior and exterior, polystyrene-based (XPS, EPS) and similar heat and sound insulation materials such as foam blocks.

Characteristics: The product can be used in interior and exterior applications on concrete, raw concrete and aerated concrete surfaces. Used for repair work. For gluing heat insulation materials. Using a roller, it is possible to give structure/decor. It has a tight adhesion to polystyrene base and foam blocks. Due to the large amount of healthy polymers contained in the structure of the material; It is elastic and safe; The product is resistant to strong impacts; It has a good adhesion function to the surface. Thanks to the fiber threads contained in the structure, it absorbs stresses and vibrations resulting from temperature changes, minimizing the risk of cracking. The long-term resistance of the product to temperature differences is confirmed by hydrothermal wall tests. The material has water-repellent properties. High vapor permeability. Thanks to its elasticity, the material is easy to apply and work on the surface.

Surface preparation: The surface on which Fayfiks P-40 will be applied must be flat, clean, dry, solid and durable. Surface irregularities should be smoothed out. Porous and water-absorbing areas should be moistened and dried before use.
Mixture preparation: Add clean, cold water to the thermal insulation plaster and mix with a low-speed mixer for approximately 10 minutes until the mixture is free of granules. The required amount of water should be determined according to the temperature conditions. Leave the mixture for 5 minutes and mix again. If necessary, add water to the consistency of the mixture. The prepared mixture should be used up within 2-2.5 hours, taking into account temperature conditions. Adding water to the hardened mass for re-use is not allowed.

Laying: Nova Fayfiks P-40 should be applied to the thermal insulation board with a 10X10 mm notched steel spatula, 4 mm thick. Alkali-resistant meshes (160 g/m2) should be placed 10 cm apart and should be laid on the facade with 1-1.5 mm overlap before the plaster dries and the plaster surface should be leveled. The corners of windows and doors should be reinforced with a cross mesh. During application and drying, the ambient and surface temperature should be at least + 50 C and at most + 300 C. Work should not be carried out in direct sunlight, in damp or windy conditions, and the plaster should be protected from frost until it dries. Until the completed work has completely dried, the surface must be protected from rain or sudden wetting, and also in the event that the ambient temperature is higher than + 250 C, in order for the screed not to suddenly lose water and be damaged, the surfaces must be periodically moistened.

Dilution: 25 kg of nova Fayfiks P-40 should be mixed with 6-7 liters of water, taking into account temperature conditions.
Drying time: At + 200 C and a relative humidity of 65%, the drying time is 1 day. Full drying time is 2 - 3 days. Since drying is a physical process, at low temperatures and high humidity the drying time may increase or vice versa.

Consumption: On polystyrene tiles: 4.0 - 4.5 kg / m2; On ceramic tiles: 5.5 / 6.5 kg / m2; It should be noted that the consumption depends on the evenness of the surface and the application method. To understand the exact consumption, it is recommended to make a sample.

Storage: Unopened packaging can be stored in a dry and cool place for 1 year.
